Looking back, I know what would have been helpful when I came home from deployment. I can clearly see, what a difference a program like this would have made for me then. I can’t go back and change what was offered to me when I came home, but I can build something new. I can build something different that will support veterans in a way they have not been supported before.

I can ensure others have the opportunity to experience what I have learned, through sailing.
